The last week of the season still means something. Three teams have clinched home field advantage in the 1st round, but the rest is still unclear. Lethbridge (32-12) has clinched the best record in the league and will host the 2nd wild card team. Likely Moose Jaw or Melville. This year the top three teams in each division receive playoff births, and the two teams with the best records regardless of division will fill out the eight-team playoff. Weyburn (27-16) will be the second seed because they have clinched the Saskatchewan division. The Okotoks Dawgs have also clinched home field in the first round with a record of 27-17. The first games have been decided and the schedule can be seen below.

Medicine Hat will likely be the 4th seed in the playoffs. They sit at 23-21 and host the Lethbridge Bulls on Tuesday. Games in Weyburn and Melville were cancelled today due to the severe thunderstorms in Saskatchewan. Moose Jaw will head back to Melville Saturday Aug 1 @ 7:05 to complete the game rained out tonight. Saturday’s game could decide the last spot in the playoffs. Regina and Weyburn will make up their rained out game tomorrow in a double header at Tom Laing Park.
Edmonton and Yorkton both sit at 20-25 one game ahead of Melville and 2.5 ahead of Moose Jaw.
Good luck to all teams during the final week of the season. Stay tuned for more updates once 1st round matchups have been finalized.
