Okotoks 3 at Lethbridge 4
The Lethbridge Bulls needed an extra inning to beat Okotoks 4-3 Tuesday night at Spitz Stadium. In the bottom of the 10th inning, a Kaleb Warden clutch hit scored Hank Forrest with the Bulls winning run.

Warden finished the night with four hits, two runs scored and a RBI. Outfielder William Hollis was the Dawgs offensive star. Hollis was two for four with a double and a home run. He also had three RBI.

reliever Derrick Talon earned the win for Lethbridge after throwing 1.2 scoreless innings. Alex Jones had the Okotoks loss.

Brooks 4 at Regina 8
Powered by a six run second inning the Regina Red defeated the Brooks Bombers 8-4. The Sox, now 7-6, had 13 hits while the Bombers, 4-10, countered with eight hits.

North Vancouver’s Riley MacDonald was a human highlight reel as he contributed two long home runs, a double and four RBI for the Bombers. Regina’s Riley Hickerson was three for four with a home run and two RBI.

Red Sox starter Kyle Wilson pitched seven solid innings for the victory. The junior from Arkansas Tech gave up three runs on six hits. He also had seven strikeouts.
Collin Thomas made his third start for Brooks and with the loss his record dropped to 1-1.

Red Sox pitchers had 10 strikeouts
Wesley Moss had two stolen bases

Brooks and Regina will face off again Wednesday night at Currie Field. Game time is 7:05 pm.

Swift Current 6 at Yorkton 8
The Yorkton Cardinals overcame a 4-0 deficit to beat Swift Current 8-6. The loss snapped the 57s four game winning streak.

Saskatoon born Jered Binsfield led the Swift Current offensive charge with two hits including a triple. Binsfield also walked and scored two runs.

Dillon Champagne homered, walked twice and scored two runs for Yorkton.

Swift Current, now 7-9 used four pitchers while the 4-10 Yorkton Cardinals sent five pitchers to the mound.

Weyburn 5 at Melville 6
With their 6-5 victory, the Melville Millionaires became giant killers as they handed the Weyburn Beavers their first loss of the 2018 season.

Melville got a great plate performance from Ryan Tackett who smacked a three-run homer to give the Millionaires a 4 -0 in the third inning. The Money Men increased their lead to 6-1 after seven before Weyburn made it close with a four run eighth inning.

One of the bright spots for the Beavers was Corey Wheaton. The outfielder from the University of Mobile had three hits including a homer for Weyburn.

Melville starter Tyler Ulrich allowed four hits and a run over seven innings of work. Ulrich also struck out seven in securing his first victory of the year.

Medicine Hat 5 at Ft. McMurray 2
Medicine Hat returned to their winning ways with a 5-2 victory over Fort Murray.  Medicine Hat improved their record to 11-3. The Giants who are now on a four game losing skid are now 5-10.

Alex Dafoe, the right hander from Friends University, threw six innings for the Mavericks, giving up a run on four hits and two walks.  Tyler Shumpert picked up the win after tossing two scoreless innings.

Fort McMurray starter Nic Cardinal went seven innings in his third start of the season. The bullpen came in and surrendered four runs in the loss.
