Moose Jaw 10 at Regina 4
The Moose Jaw Miller Express improved their record to 8-2 with a decisive 10-4 win over the Regina Red Sox. Regina now sits at 3-5 in the Eastern Division.
A three-run shot by Alex Hendra-Brown in the fourth inning erased the Red Sox 2-0 lead. Hendra-Brown, the WMBL Player of the Week, finished the night two for three with a walk, run scored and four RBI. A five run Miller Express seventh inning put the game out of reach. For Regina, Colton Onstott was a bright spot with two RBI and two hits including his fourth double of the season.
Markus Gregson earned his first win of the season while Regina’s Peyton Burks dropped to 0-2 on the season.
The two teams will do it again in Moose Jaw at Ross Wells Park on Wednesday night.

Sal Rodriguez let the Maverick offence with three hits and a hit by pitch. Lethbridge got a home run from Lachlan Mayo who also had a double and two RBI.
Maverick starter Alex Dafoe picked up the win and closer Tyler Shumpert got the final two out to earn the save. Kale Penner was saddled with the Lethbridge loss.

Yorkton’s Clyde Yeh had a very good night at the plate registering three hits including his first homer of the season, two runs scored and four RBI.
The Cardinals chased Melville start Lyle Hibbitts early in the third which forced the Millionaires to use five pitchers during the game.

Brooks starter Collin Thomas threw seven innings allowing four runs on six hits. He also struck out four batters. Felix Pena came on in relieve and pitched two scoreless innings to help the Bombers improve to 3-9. Prospect starting pitcher Scott Gillespie gave way to the Edmonton bullpen after 3.1 innings of work.
Riley McDonald, from North Vancouver, had a home run and three RBI in the Brooks win. Edmonton, now 5-4, had multi hits games from Anthony Cusati and Nick Spillman.

Dawgs starter Carter Robinson had a solid seven inning outing. The Mesa Community College product
Okotoks used a team effort to score nine runs on 11 hits and five walks. Offensively Swift Current got home runs from Bryan Benz, Bo McClintock (two) and Jered Binsfield.

Ft. McMurray 1 at Weyburn 2
All the games scoring came in the eighth inning as Weyburn took a 2-1 lead into the ninth. Beavers closer Eric Evans came on in the final frame to close out the game and preserves Weyburn’s perfect record at 9-0.
