Moose Jaw 13 at Brooks 10
The 173 fans at Elks Stadium were treated to a hit parade this afternoon in Moose Jaw’s 13-10 victory over Brooks. The Bombers took a 10-9 lead into the ninth inning only to see it evaporate as the Miller Express plated four runs to take the lead.
The Miller Express offence produced seven hits and nine walks while the Bomber batters had 17 hits and six walks. Moose Jaw had three homers and stole four stolen bases on the way to their fourth win of the season.
Brooks countered with six extra base hits including an exceptional effort from MacDonald Riley who had four hits including a double, triple and home run.
Central Missouri reliever John Prudhom pitched a scoreless ninth inning for the Miller Express victory.
Adam Cook went 2 for 3 with 3 runs and a RBI
Eric Marriott had a home run, a walk and three RBI
MacDonald Riley had 4 hits including a double, triple and a homer
Zach Lehman chipped in with 4 hits, a RBI and scored 3 runs
Lethbridge 17 at Fort McMurray 6
The Lethbridge Bulls overcame a 2-0 first inning deficit to defeat the Fort McMurray Giants 17-6. Lethbridge cranked out 17 on the day while Fort McMurray had 11.
The Bulls hitting clinic was led by Ashton Roy, Brett Mercier and Grant Schmidt who each contributed three hits. Chris Panzarella produced four hits and three RBI in a losing cause.
Bulls starter Adam Grieder went six innings and was credited with the win. The Giants used seven pitchers in the loss.
The win was the first of the season for Lethbridge.
Kaleb Warden scored 4 runs and had 4 walks, 2 hits and 2 RBI
Dylan Borman crossed the plate 3 times on 2 hits and 2 walks
John Loschiavo reached base 3 times on 2 hits and a walk.

Okotoks 5 at Edmonton 11
Another great crowd of 2,327 fans packed ReMax Field to see Edmonton improve their record to 2-1 with a 11- 5 win over the Okotoks Dawgs. It was an interesting game as Edmonton had 12 hits but committed six errors. As well, all nine Prospects hitters scored at least one run.
Third baseman Nate Dechaine was very good at the plate for Okotoks as he produced two of the Dawgs five runs.
Edmonton pitchers held the Dawgs to just five hits and one walk and were charged with just one earned run.

Pitcher Alex Jones faced four batters in the 6th inning and did not allow a hit or run
Pitcher Taran Oulton had 8 strikeouts over 5 innings
Matt Coutney drove in 3 runs on a single and a triple
Swift Current 8 at Regina 18
The Regina Red Sox scored nine runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to defeat the defending WMBL champion Swift Current 57s 18-8.
The 57s jumped out to an early lead with a four run first inning and a two run home run shot from Bryan Benz.
Offensively for Regina, Riley Hickerson and Griffin Keller both had four hits. Hickerson and David Molder also drove in four runs each.
735 fans were at Currie Field for the Red Sox Home Opener.
