First night of summer at Spitz Stadium belonged to the Dawgs

The Okotoks Dawgs (6-9) defeated the Lethbridge Bulls (9-6) 8-2 on a beautiful night for baseball at Spitz Stadium. The Dawgs played a complete game for their fourth straight victory. 
 

Tyrell King (Paradise Valley CC) set the tone for the boys as he picked up his first victory of the season. King went 6 complete striking out 6, scattering 3 hits while only giving up 1 earned run. Adam Collier (Otterbein University) picked up where King left off as he completed 2 innings of work allowing 0 runs. Shawn Andersen (Douglas College) finished off the night with a scoreless ninth. 

 
The Dawgs offence was lead by Brendan Rose (University of British Columbia) going 3-4 driving in 2 runs and scoring 2 himself. Peterson and Kelly also had big nights for the Dawgs as they picked up 3 hits each combining for 3 RBI's. 
 
The Bulls and the Dawgs meet again tomorrow afternoon at Spitz Stadium, first pitch is scheduled for 2:05pm.
